Day Lily - Hemerocallis

Perennial from zone 3-9. Grows to about 1 metre (or 3 feet). Very easy to grow ornamental edible. Flowers can be used as a garnish in salads and eaten raw. Roots and young leaves can also be cooked and eaten. Rhizome barrier or other restraints may be necessary to help keep this aggressive plant in its place.
