Edible Forest Garden Design, Implementation, and Management

The Oikos Network is happy to be working with Brad Peterson, Environmental Management and Landscape Architect, on a 5 year old 1.5 acre edible forest garden in Chatsworth Ontario.

The site is home to various fruit and nut trees, berry bushes, trellising edibles, herbs, root crops and a perennial vegetable garden. Also included are various plants for windbreaks, dynamic nutrient accumulation, pollination, insect and disease management, and nitrogen fixation.

This location has also been the host for 3 biennial workshops on Orchard Polycultures and various other related topics.
