Nepitella - Calamintha nepeta

Perennial in hardiness zones 5-10. Grows to about 3-4 feet tall. Also called “lesser calamint”. This mint is said to be a cross between oregano and mint, or even basil and mint. A very popular herb in Tuscany, used in mushroom dishes and with  cooked green vegetables (specifically artichokes). Also good with sauteed zucchini, garlic and tomatoes, with roast meats.
